Burnaby Mountain Booster Pump Station

Burnaby Mountain Booster Pump Station

About this project

Nested in to the hillside to preserve views and gently placed in to a sensitive ecosystem, the Burnaby Mountain Booster Pump Station feeds the needs of the expanding Simon Fraser University campus and its new community UniverCity. As the green roof matures, the station will blend into the site and what remains visible, the board-form concrete, respects the architecture of the campus above.

Architect: Joost Bakker, Principal at DIALOG
