The Banks

The Banks

About this project

The Banks mixed-use project bridges the Riverdale community’s established neighbourhood and farmer’s market precinct with the river front walk, and offers distinct characters along each edge; 19th and Avenue B respect the brick heritage while colourful and playful Avenue C and Sonnenshein respect the residential neighbourhood and the adjacent park. The four buildings are connected at the ground floor by a micro-climate enhanced pedestrian mews bisected by a service access and offers a range of use types including townhouses, live/work and commercial retail units. The upper residential floors are connected by bridges that provide winter wind protection ensuring a microclimate within the mews.
